Transit Operators
Transit operators are constantly working alone with the public, which puts them at risk of verbal and physical attack. Those working at night and on weekends are especially at risk as potential confrontations are often fuelled by drugs and alcohol. Further, those collecting fares, such as bus and taxi drivers, are at risk of robbery. It is not always feasible to call dispatch for help in these situations.
The Keyfox is discreet, and can be used to call for help in a confrontational situation. Location notes, and GPS can locate the transit worker, and aid can be sent without the attacker’s knowledge.
