How the Keyfox Works
The Keyfox uses a Bluetooth link to connect your cell phone to our monitoring centre. A sensitive microphone allows our operators to hear and assess your situation. They locate you using GPS and Location Notes, and then work with emergency services to send help.
Keyfox is Fast
The Keyfox has the unique ability to capture sound immediately upon activation, even before the call is established. In a fast moving situation if you need to say something quickly, simply activate the device and speak. You do not have to wait for an operator to answer your call.
The Keyfox is a discreet wearable device which means you can easily reach for it without the other person knowing. This allows you to send a call for help quickly, often before the situation escalates. Early notification reduces response time and reducing the response time reduces the risk, as emergency aid reaches you faster.
Keyfox Filters Out False Alarms
False alarms and accidental calls are a concern for both users of personal security devices, and emergency service teams. The Keyfox addresses this concern with the use of a personal, secure cancel code. If you have accidentally activated the Keyfox, simply enter your pin code on your cell phone to cancel the call. With your personal pin, only you can cancel the call. A reduction in false alarms allows emergency services to operate more efficiently, reducing response times for real emergencies.
Keyfox is Cost Effective
The Keyfox uses Bluetooth technology to connect to our call center through your cell phone. Calls are placed on your pre-existing cellular plan, so you won’t have to incur the costs of an additional plan.
